Paper folding provides active mathematical experiences to children that will ignite their curiosity about learning Geometry, properties and proofs! Paper folding offers wonderful opportunities to explore and understand shape rotation, scaling, congruence etc in a hands-on way. The paper fold activities taken up in this workshop are recreational and are of enriching kids minds.

The workshop focuses on,

1. How kids can make basic shape constructions using simple paper folds.
2. How kids can make 2D regular polygons and 3D shapes through paper folds.
3. Understand polygon properties like angles and proofs like Pythogras theorem hands-on using paper folding!

The workshop is a wonderful opportunity for kids to understand that Geometry is not only in books. It can be understood hands-on using paper folding.
