Maths is inter-twined every moment in our daily lives. However, Maths is viewed only as a Text Book subject and its presence in our lives is rarely noticed. To bridge the gap, Math Stories are introduced to provide an interesting way to connect math concepts with real life.
Stories are a powerful medium to ignite kids’ curiosity and expand their creative thinking. Through Math Stories workshop, kids are introduced to stories that carry Math concepts implicitly. Kids are encouraged to make their own story that can relate math concepts through their favourite comic or imaginary characters and spin interesting tales!
Stories being the favourite medium for kids, this workshop would give them a way to understand and relate Math concepts beyond their text books and apply it to stories. The workshop would benefit kids by,
- Enhancing their creativity
- Improving the communication
